I get you......and also, I know Bladite and his sense of humor (which, TBH, may require therapy to address at some point). Trust me, he would have locked this thread up tight if it was a problem. I don't really have money to spend either.....but I've never let that stand in between me and a great deal yet. Might have to take the digital road over to the site today and see what I can finagle.

I am in the same boat in the past few weeks i have gotten 2 beckers. With the holidays right around the corner $$$ is tight. With that said it would kill me not to take advantage.
 
Has anyone been able to take advantage of this deal?

I am trying to get two of the coppersmith barlows and I don't see how to apply the bonus dollars to the order - I put one knife in, then go put another knife in my cart and it just doubles the amount of bonus dollars....

I am at the checkout screen with payment info ready, but the order is still showing full price for two knives.....

Thanks for the heads up by the way, I was looking for a barlow for a friend for Christmas, and this way I get one for me too... ;^)

Look closely when you add the second...don't choose qty-2...choose 1 then go back and click the green "use Ka-Bar Kash" button to add the second one
 
Yep. A test run is helpful. And you don't have to pull the trigger to see how it works. I already did that myself to make sure. :)

Thanks - the button actually says "add to cart free" - just a note, this button does not show up when using chrome, I switched to IE and then I could see the button.

Good advice. It works in Firefox too. :)
 
Way I look at it, you can always sell the second one for at least what you paid for it. ;)

I use Chrome and don't have an issue.

But, I did noticed that if I added and removed items from the cart, the system would get 'confused' about what was free and I had to clear and start over.

At one point, I had about $5 in Kash remaining and thought I could add the $7 Ice Scrapper and get it for $2. Nope. $7 was added to the total and remaining Kash jumped to $12. ????

Anywho ... it's fun to play with the cart.

Gotta do a budget-check before hitting submit. Don't wanna go broke saving money. ;)
 
Well, I waited too long and the big micarta scales are sold out...now I have some VZ's on the way and I have a feeling I'm not going to be as happy...hopefully I can move them and break even with some micarta...or just hold the cash.
If they're nice, I'll keep them for the plans I had for the micarta...

Bad thing is if I have any cash in the PayPal account, the wife uses it...
So its difficult for me to move money around that way...

Also the wife's check was suppose to go thru last night and it hasn't even tho her coworkers have...so I didn't get everything as I planned but had to jump for fear of missing out on the tweener scales since the micarta was out...

Now I'm short for the weekend if her check doesn't clear til Monday...

Sigh...first world complications...
 
I bit on the VZ's while they're still in stock. BOGO was too good to pass up.
 
I got the VZ grips, too.....though they were free as I bought a BK17 (!) to get the KaBar Kash.


WHAT?

I don't have a 17, so....this seemed like a good time to pay too much for one, and get 3 sets of grips in the deal. Sadly NO large Micarta. But hey....the VZ's are gonna be sweet on my 21.
