KABAR Heavy Bowie Rehandle?

has anyone rehandled a kabar heavy bowie? it looks to be full tang and i love the knife but i hate the handle.
 
Im not 100% sure, but i think its a stick tang. I believe the only full tang kabars are the beckers. Hope thats at least a little help!
 
Generally, knives with this type of rubber handle are full tang, all the way to the lanyard tube.
That brass tube is what keeps the handle in place.
 
I have been trying to find someone to make a stacked canvas micarta handle for my kabar, but I've had no luck so far.
