BTW: Despite the appearance in the picture, there is no discoloration of the blade, it's the lighting and oil - even though I wiped it.
I have two of these now discontinued and increasingly rare KaBar John Adventure Knives, a "Potbelly" and a "Gamestalker" that no longer see the light of day and are on the block.
The Potbelly, Model 5600 is brand new (don't think I have the box); never used, never carried - total Safe Queen.
The Gamestalker, Model 5602 is SOLD.
How about the Potbelly for $80?
I typically get things out immediately or certainly w/i 24 hours.
