I have a used Kabar #1273/KBD1, designed by Bob Dozier. Production of this model ended in 2008; there is some collector interest in this model, but mine is a strictly a user. It's still in great shape, and the blade is full. I can't carry this knife here in California, due to the fact that technically, it's considered a double-edge knife. I just can't let it sit here unused, and if I'm going to let it go, I'd like to get a nice, heavy-duty user for it. I love this knife, and I hate getting rid of it. :(

The previous owner stripped the finish off the blade, but there are still spots here & there where some of the finish remains. I don't have the original nylon sheath: This knife will only fit into the dedicated nylon sheath designed for it; none of the nylon sheaths for other Kabar models will work. However, I did buy a black Kabar leather sheath for for the regular Kabar C/U-type knife, and the Dozier KBD1 fits in it perfectly.

I'd like to trade for one of the following, plain edge only if possible:
- Camillus Becker BK2 Companion
- Camillus Becker BK5 Magnum Camp
- Camillus Becker BK9 Combat Bowie
- Kabar #1281(?) D2 Extreme, nylon sheath

I might consider these:
- Kabar #1245 Tanto (Kraton handle)
- Kabar #1264 Tanto (leather handle)
- Kabar 1271 Fighter
- Kabar #5601 Bacon Maker
- Kabar #5701 ZK War Sword

PM or email me with offers. Feel free to make other offers, but don't be offended if I say no.

I have an old little Koller brand German Hunting knife, Solingen "Gusstahl (stainless)".

Stacked leather handle (In the smooth style of the Kabar MK1).

Full tang (visible at end with the type of pommel that screws to the tang).

Blade length the same as the Kabar "Little Fin".

Great little blade, she's a shaver that only ever requires a leather stroping to restore to shaving sharp.

Email is: stvpourciau@gmail.com

I can send some pics if you're interested and would be willing to think about trading if you're willing to accept.

No problem. I also have the original warthg 1247 F/Umodel, but the I'm feelin pretty attached to that too, again it depends on your intst in the item.
