Kabar Knife Differences?

Just saw the new Kabar Mark 1 and was wondering what is the difference between it and the Kabar Short Knife? They seem to be the same length.

Mark 1 is flat ground. Reg Kabar has a very pronounced clip-point.

Many have very good things to say about this knife.
