Did anyone actually catch that he thought it was a wood handle?

A Ka-Bar is not a Ka-Bar if it doesn't have the stacked leather handle.

thats tstacked leather and it wears and darkens. kraton wears less and is very grippy

Yep, caught it, just figured he'd figure it out based on the posts. You're right, a Ka-Bar MUST have stacked leather (just my opinion) In fact, I won't even buy a Randall (or a Ka-Bar) unless it's got a leather handle, just because that's how my dad and grandfather both ordered them, and how they used them in the wars. I know that stag and synthetics are popular too for the Randall, but for me it's gotta be leather.
