KACK Pre Order now available.

I just stumbled upon this thread and as nice as the knife looks, it seems Emerson's-acronym-finding-department did not check what KACK means in different languages.
Unfortunately it literally means "Sh*t in German...

We Germans especially say KACK if we want to express how unfortunate or bad something is: "So ein Kack!" or "So eine Kacke" translates to "Oh...What a crap!"

If Emerson wants to market this knife in Germany, they should reconsider the acronym:

Kick Ass roughly translates to Super
Combat Knife = Kampfmesser

So SKM "Superkampfmesser" would be the correct translation, but that sounds imho a litte mallninjaish:)

Thanks for the info but EKI isn't marketing this to Germany. This run is already SOLD OUT. I'm sure a lot of products translate differently in other languages all over the world. I can tell you that this knife is definitely not shit.

Well, the design and the specks looks amazing and in no way like feces... Anyhow it remided me of what Mitsubishi did with the Pajero: Great Car, funny name.... :)
 
I wish Mr. Emerson can post a introduction vid on this knife. Really want to know all the stories behind this Kickazz knife!

Great idea as I don't know all the history either. I'll run it by him. Hopefully he has one handy to show you. I know his custom version is in safe keeping. Not sure if any knives have been finished just get but when they are maybe he can do this video.
 
So did these all get claimed on the preorder or will some show up for sale on the site at some point? Or is that unknown as of now?
 
Hopefully there are a few left though it wouldn't surprise me if they are completely sold out. Reason I hope some are left is that there are a few that simply couldn't buy one regardless of payment method. I hope they get their chance as they are fans of the brand.

By the time march rolls around though it shouldn't be an issue so I'll cross my fingers for a leftover or two and twiddle my thumbs until E-REP lets us know ;)
