Forced to comply... smh. Keep living free my dude.

If our country shut down for a few weeks to a month, if everyone would only go out when absolutely necessary and wore a mask, and if people could be considerate of one another and their personal space (most people still dont keep a 6 foot distance) then we could slow down the spread and get this under control. its a MINOR inconvienience and the people who complained about their freedoms being taken away, not being able to get their hair done or go to a bar to have a beer are a huge part of the problem. If they could think about anyone but themselves for longer than 5 minutes we wouldn't be in this mess.

I could also say a few choice words about our leadership (nonexistant) but I'll stay away from that argument right now.

So no, its not giving up freedom. It's wanting to get through a tough time with the fewest people sick and/or dead, which ISN'T happening right now. Our economy is going to go through a worse recession than 2008 if we keep on this path. People can't work or buy things if they are dead.

You missed my entire point. Keep swinging though. Its fun to watch.

What point? If you think it's giving up freedom then that's fine. Going any deeper and we'd have to move to the political forum and I refuse to do that.

@Lodd big companies can be way more fragile and sensitive to "accidents". Big means more costs, more difficulties to manage, more problems to set straight, and so on...

Totally agree, and generally speaking, profit margins are razor (no pun intended) thin as they rely on bulk quantities to turn a profit. Service does one of two things for a company by design: It makes money or it loses money/hopefully breaks even. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense on its face, but it either is designed to offer a revenue stream to the company ie charge a fee that nets a profit OR it adds value to the brand ie losing a bit of money on parts/sharpening to build brand loyalty.

I can see this as both a practical issue regarding health and business on KAIs part. The ethical thing to do is not expose your workers to potential hazards like products from all over the earth that may be carrying COVID-19. On the business end of things, it may simply be too much of a money-bleed to take the extra safety steps. It makes sense to just hold off on these services while the virus rages a bit out of control.

I work in an industry with a lot of entitled people. They are grouchy because we are behind schedule. We are doing the best we can with what we can get working 7 days a week while trying to , but that doesn't keep the average consumer from looking for a dog to kick.
