Greetings fellow knifeknuts! Here’s the latest iteration of the Kaibab Kommando. The Kaibab Plateau is north of the Grand Canyon, Arizona, a very isolated region with limited accessibility (real mountain man country).

52100 - Dimensions - 3/16” x 12 5/8” OAL and 7 7/8” from tip to guard and the height is 1 7/16”. Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a clean satin finish. Paul Bos Heat Treat to 60/61. The edge was about .012” before sharpening. The spine is well rounded for a comfortable thumb, the deep swedge can be sharpened and it flares at the tip for extra strength. Balances on the guard.

The handle features a blued steel guard with my “owls ears” for easy access to the spine. Japanese Privet, green fiber and black micarta spacers accent the elk handle and blued pommel. Finished with multiple coats danish oil and carnauba wax. The handle feels great in my left and right average size hand with room to spare.

The premium dangler sheath features my custom carving and is a snug fit with great retention yet easy to deploy.

It’s $OLD to your US door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. I can accept paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking! Please feel free to comment, ask anything here or via PM.

That's a beauty John , it was a beauty the 1st time I saw it and it still is . I'm surprised it is still available .

thanks Jack I appreciate it, (and the time spent typing too)! Yes it's still available, usually these get snapped up pretty quick..

Sweet job....

I remember visiting Kiabab plateau while in \at the Grand Canyon as a kid...I also bought a book----Brighty of the Grand Canyon..... about a burro if I remember correctly and a lot of his time was spent grazing the plateau😜..
The things we remember when we get older🤔

Great looking blade and pants too!!!

Thanks a bunch Grouse this one is SOLD! and yes JFK1110 it was brighty the burro, that place has lots of characters in it's history.

It is a beauty, I concur. The wee recurve in that big beautiful blade and the intricate handle work flip my switch in a major way. This one will be at home with anyone who loves beautiful things. What a treasure, grouse! Excellent choice you made.
