Greetings fellow knifeknuts! Here’s my newest iteration of the Kaibab Kommando The Kaibab Plateau is north of the Grand Canyon, Arizona, a very isolated region with limited accessibility (real mountain man country).

52100- Dimensions - 5/32”x 12 1/4” OAL and 7 13/16” from tip to guard and the height is 1 1/2”. Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a clean satin finish. Paul Bos Heat Treat to 60/61. The edge was about .012” before sharpening. The spine is well rounded for a comfortable thumb, the deep swedge can be sharpened and it flares at the tip for extra strength. Balances on the front of the guard.

The handle features a stainless steel guard with easy access to the spine. Ironwood, leather, blue and black G10spacers set off the elk handle and sculpted stainless pommel. The guard and pommel are polished to 2000 grit and buffed to a near mirror finish. The handle is finished with multiple coats danish oil and carnauba wax. The handle feels great in my left and right average size hand with room to spare.

The premium sheath features my custom carving on Wickett and Craig leather.

It’s $280 to your US door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. I can accept paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking! Please feel free to comment, ask anything here or via PM.

Hi J jfk1110 , yes I read that book too long ago. And N nighthawk86 I've done a couple of custom sheaths but I need the knife in hand to do it.
thanks Guys, appreciated!

Haven't read the book, but as always the knife/sheath combo is over the top cool, John. The blade profile with the spine and recurvy blade edge mirroring one another and the swedge and file work added in. Way too much more to list. I do believe I have the vapors...

Thanks Grady, I always appreciate your kind words.

John Cahoon, sorry I didn't see your post until tonight. I don't log in that often. I will keep what you said in mind as I wouldn't mind acquiring a similar sheath sometime.

Keep up the great work.
