For sale are two Kailash Blades khukuris. They both come in the same format - black micarta handles, steel hardware, satin finish, performance grind, and kydex sheaths. I have removed and lost the belt attachments that were provided - these were intended to be pack knives, not belt hangers.
Neither have been used for any purpose, but have been played with a lot. You will see scuffs, some light staining, and the rough finish that is typical of Kailash Blades' satin finish.
1. First is the Panawal (right, in the first pic). This is the 13" blade model with the large (5.25") handle. This was customized to be 6mm maximum thickness on the spine, as opposed to the usual 8mm thickness for this size. The result is still pretty stocky, and feels a bit heavier than the M43 Martial. But the hollow-forged and ground flats along with tapering and the leanness of the performance grind make this both agile and hard-hitting.
2. Second is the M43 Martial (left, in the first pic). This is per Kailash's standard, no custom requests were made. Super light and aggressive with a 12.5" blade, 5.25" handle, and 5mm maximum thickness spine. Combined with full-height forging and grinding, this is a mean fighter and can do a ton of work besides.
My cost for the Panawal was $237 and for the Martial was $236 (plus shipping) with about a six week wait each. I will sell them for $200 each or $375 for the pair.
