howdy fellas,
sorry to intrude on yall but im most likely going to be heading down to Australia this summer for some cattle work, and alot of my friends offered me a going away present. now ive had Drizabone long coats before when i was young a ranching in Montana. but ive seen some really nice Kakadu coats that look pretty good to wear all year and around town in. How would yall compare the 2. i know driz has been around forever and obviously are top notch. so really how does kakadu stand up against driz. Thanks for any input i really appreciate it.

i have both, a duster full length and a short 3/4 length bushmans jacket. Both are equal in terms of quailty and waterproofness as far as i'm concerned. The big thing is to use the reproofing wax every few months and work it in well, despite the jacket brand. A lot of peopel buy the coats and never treat them, then wonder why they get wet.

,y 3/4 bushmans jacket is about 25 years old, i bought it used and it still is keeping me dry and warm.

yea i love my driz and i just bought a kakadu java jacket. i wore my dads everywhere until it fell apart from not being treated (i didnt know) but i bought reproofing wax for this one and im ready to go.
