One of the main advantages of WT seems to be that a smaller (or just plain weak?) person is able to defend against a much stronger attacker. Is this correct for Kali as well?
Some infamous experiment: Give a person who´s "weaker" than you are a marker (Lackstift) type of pen and tell ´em to try and "mark" you as often as they can. Then try to take the marker away. When finished, look at your hands and body.

Nice choice of traing methodologies, Judge! In my teacher's school, we fight with markers. They serve as an object lesson as to how many times we would have been hit and what kind of damage we could have sustained.
It's good to know that other people play that way.
There´s so many variables that it is difficult to judge any general situation. Two guys, equally well trained in WT. The stronger one will beat the weaker one. The same guys, the other day: The stronger one had a bad night, the weaker one will beat him.
It depends.
