Yes, that's me. But it is the wrong forum for the picture. It is not a buck knife in my hand.

Haebbie

The very first knife I ever made

I found Joe's sheets on these 2 models and the change of the guard took place from 81-85.
I have held a 2 line Kalinga with box papers and all at a show. I offered him 3XX for it and he said it was promised to a friend. Insider trading.
They do exist.
If one studies the photos of steelhead he shows a 70's example and a newer 80's model. Notice the belly is moved back on the newer model.
I liked the belly more forward. DM

I had read somewhere that after an African Buck family safari in the late 60's it was decided they needed to add a heavier and swept blade knife to the line.

And everything you read on the internet is true, right?

Thanks for all those pics they really helped.

THAT is a beautiful sheath.
Should be a good market for that because the original early Kalinga sheaths were pretty trashy and often got damaged.

You did that AFTER I started this thread? Wow!

That guitar akonua could use a sheath like that... :)

I invested in a professional leather machine. Sped up sheath making immensely.
