A long time ago, when I first started collecting knives, I searched high and low for a decent knife case at a good price. Most were reasonably priced, but light on quality. Then I stumbled on Kangaroo Knife Cases. They're made with heavy Cordura nylon, sturdy zippers, and have a wonderfully soft lining. I bought a lot of them over the years, but I'm not planning to expand my collection and I have half a dozen more of these than I need.
They're all 11 inches long by 4 1/2 inches tall, perfect for a small fixed blades or large folders. They've all been used, but by used I mean they had a knife put in them and then were stored in a bin, so they're pretty much like new. It's a smoke free and pet free house, so no funky smells. The company that made these went out of business about a decade ago. Short of a Bill's Custom Case (IMO, the best knife cases made), these are about as nice as they come. $40 for the six plus $5 shipping.
