Kansas City ICCE Knife Show 2015 Photos

Great shots of a great time! I'm glad you captured the kids hopping around on that wild carpet. I saw many wee ones jumping from golden bubble to golden bubble throughout the weekend :)

It 'another point of view, much more emotional and participatory. Congratulations, you've managed to "catch" the emotions!

I don't mean to bring this thread back to the top but wow, thank you so much for the kind words people! Seriously! I really really appreciate it!!! =D

The photography of participating knife makers at a show is a wonderful project,
BUT to most it looses ALL of its real everlasting value without a name to each face....!!!!

To the viewers all over the world it becomes just a bunch of randomly photographed
people behind tables at some knife show!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Thank you, David! I do wish I could get captions for all of the photos but I've never been good with words and names. Plus every single one of you guys knows way more about the knife world than I do. I have so much to learn. I'm a very focused person and can only do one thing at a time and photography is what I love so it's what I do. I would be more than happy to partner with someone who knows a lot about the knife world so that they can add captions. Maybe for a future show sometime.

Great shots Caleb. I was there and you captured more than the images, but the spirit of the show.

Names are not needed to appreciate the images for what they are. Names are also not needed to appreciate your consideration in taking the pictures in the first place, but then also processing them and posting.

I thought about taking some pictures, but it was too much fun just to see things, it'd be difficult to keep track of names with photos with so much else to see.

Thanks!!!

sweet photos! Love the candid shots.

Caleb,

I have been travelling and swamped with work until about 2 AM this morning, so no time to visit here for days. This thread is a great place to return to. I was hoping you would post up some pics. Thanks so much for doing so.

Dude your killing it!! I always look forward to seeing through your lens...thank you
