Alright i know this is a long shot but i was just wondering if there are any local knife makers interested in doing an apprenticeship type thing? Evenings or weekends? Not looking for money or anything, just experience. Knives are my passion and I would really like to learn the art. I take criticism very well and have an open mind. Russ Andrews is in Sugar Creek. There is a hammer-in southern Mo and Topeka every year. Steve Culver has been the organizer of the Topeka one, Gary Mulkey has run the Mo one, they might know someone.
