Some of my buddies have been harassing me for a while to take my ringed hawkbill and make it a little more curvey, so even though I am a huge fan of the bawandimann karambit I finally gave in and made one.

This thing is pretty large for a karambit being about 8 inch OAL. I made it out of 1/4 inch 1095

Hollow primary grind and flat front edges, carbon fiber scales and brass pin stock with an etched finish.

Price: 285->SOLD shipped with a kydex sheath. If you like hefty blades this is likely the only one I will ever make out of 1/4 inch steel.

Sheaths are made to your specs so allow me a couple of days to ship!

Straight Predator action on that one... that thing needs to cut something living... I'm not a fan of the Karambit, but that's one that might sway me.

EDIT: How did you get that great finish?

If I didn't just get my hawkbill I would have bought that. Oh well I'll have you make me one when you come up to MT to visit

Thanks guys, Hobbyist - take the blade up to ~400 grit, degrease, apply nail polish, candle wax or model paint in the pattern you want and then soak in straight ferric chloride for 4+ hours depending on how deep you want the etch to go. double that for stainless. Then scrub it off with 800-2000 grit sand paper. I like to give them a quick tumble afterward too.

Dangerous looking fighter there. I like how the handle and blade color scheme go together
