Karasu means "crow" in Japanese. Kind of a dark and wicked feel to these. Very light and fast. Two of these available.


Specs: -

Aldo's 1084 steel - 1/8in
Hardness - 60-61rc - HT to specs in my digitally controlled Evenheat oven

1. OAL - 8 1/4
Blade length - 4 1/4

Razor sharp chisel grind - Fine scotchbrite finish - Texture hammered dark forge finish flats.
Black tsukamaki handle - West System cured
Fold over style kydex sheath -In progress. Configured for IWB loop and neck carry.

Ben - I had one like this awhile back but it was smaller. I just kinda beefed it up a little. The double guard/swell really makes you feel a lot safer with this blade.

It's a cool look with the swoopy profile and the american tanto tip. I am thinking double ground one with a 9" blade would be awesome.

Thanks Ben, you too man. I thought this profile would be killer as a wakizashi. Need a forge for that though. I have a tiny oven lol. One day I will have what I need.
