That's true, but the blade doesn't appear to be black. I could be mistaken, but did they do a black handle non coated blade version?

In reference to the ATR ideas.
 
I'm enjoying all these replies. I guess there may be a reason that I noticed her knife and not Adam's.:D It's hard not to like a cute woman that enjoys working with tools, blowing things up, and is artistic too. I doubt she likes to fish though since I remember her getting really upset when they had the dead pigs in one episode.

Thanks for the screenshot will_77. From that screen shot I'm still going with one of the Chinooks, maybe Chinook II. Definitely isn't a Manix. I can see the ATR possiblity also.

my first guess wouldve been the remote release 2 but looking at it closer, it seems like the back part of the edge is indented in, which is a sign of serrations. BUT the remote release only came in SE. so i think its the pro grip.
 
Pro-Grip is another good guess.

I would think a Chinook would look huge in her hands. While she is not a petite woman, still she is probably only around 5'6" or 5'8".
 
I think she's hiding a knife in her nude suit. This is a screenshot from the toilet suck episode.

So did anyone ever figure out what knife she had?

I think Kristi or Sal need to contact Mythbusters.
 
I have that episode on tape (the one with the knife, not the ass shot), I'll check later on tonight.

She also gets hysterically happy when they set things on fire. My girlfriend _loves_ her. :D
 
anyone else think it may be the ocelot? The butt doesnt quite look right, but the blade shape looks to be a perfect match to me. Plus the size is more reasonable than the ATR.
 
It does remind me of a Wegner design, like the ocelot. That would explain the non-coated blade. Maybe she's a real Spyder-fan and has one of the old discontinued hunters...
 
i do believe that we need more pics of Kari in the nude suit to properly ascertain the model of the knife in question. ;)

all kidding aside beautiful, smart and love blowing things up what else could anyone ask for.

looks like an atr to me.
 
I watched the bit again, and it definitely has a black handle with an uncoated blade. To me it looks like a C33 Progrip. Possibly a C73 Impala, but I'm leaning more towards the Progrip.
 
I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's a plain old frn endura. That fits the black handle/silver blade, and I think it's more likely that than one of the lesser known models.

I went to a meet/greet with jaime and Adam, and Adam had some fancy folder, but didnt get a good look at it...

They film in The Bay Area, I should just pop in and ask...that would go down reallly good... <sarcasm>
