I promised Karl I'd send him a pic so I thought I would include you all
I have one of these

I've used it for years and I really like it
Well all but the plastic handle
Lately I was a using it and I got the handle loose so I thought since I'm going to the Blade Show I won't epoxy back on the old handle I'll look for something a bit different for a suitable handle
I was at a table of a vendor that had some neat African game horns and I happened to run in to Karl
I like Karl
He's a bowhunter and all around great outdoorsman and makes a hell of a knife to boot
I told him what I was looking to do and he was ever so kind to offer up his opinion and help me choose something
I promised I'd send him some pics
So here you go
An Unbreakable Umbrella with a Kudo Horn Tip as a Handle

I reamed it out with a big drill bit and than cut it flush to match the button base
Than I sanded and tapered the horn to match up
On the carbon shaft of the umbrella I scuffed it and used a saw to make some notches
Than I filled the horn with Acu-Glass and some fibers and set the shaft in place
A light buff and I'm pleased
Thanks Karl
