I received this sword roughly three weeks ago from Warriors and Wonders here in Canada, and I have only used it to cut a dozen bottles or so. No chance to cut mats or bamboo.
It is a truly beautiful sword, and the only reason I have decided to sell is due to the fact that I am starting Search and Rescue training. I really need to focus my attention in that direction and I need to purchase some new gear, primarily proper clothing for the cold season.
Essentially, this is a stock Hanwei Bamboo Mat with only very light use. It has a couple very light scratches from cutting, which can only be seen in perfect lighting.
The ito is very tight and has a very nice feel. All in all it's a great sword, but I really need to focus my attention elsewhere.
I still have all the original tags, paper work etc inside the original wooden box.
I am asking $600 USD shipped and insured within North America via Canada Post/USPS Expedited mail.
