**Sold*** Thanks!!

I'm offering for sale my personal Katana. I used this for a few months in my study of Iaido but have decided to sell it and use an alloy blade as steel blades are not allowed travel to Japan. (just thinking and wishing ahead.:p)

The nagasa is about 2.56 shaku or about 30 5/8" with bohi. The weight is about 965g w/o saya (about 2lbs 2oz) and is very well balanced, feeling light and quick. The tsuka is 9 sun, or about 10 3/4". Copper habaki and seppa.
This was the one at the Seattle show.

I am particularly proud of the hamon on this one. It is very even and controlled.

Saya is alder with a cane wrap for strength and a copper kojiri.

As it stands it needs a little work but I have decided to list this to allow the prospective new owner some options in it's fix-up.

As it is, it is still not sharpened and I could leave it that way should someone want it for iaido. My intention is to clean up and repolish the blade.
The tsuba is one I made and will be an option as I could put a production tsuba on it for a reduced cost. (I kinda like the one I made and wouldn't mind keeping it.:))

30" is too long for me. I would be all over it otherwise. Congrats to the future owner.

I own one of Stuart's katana, and I don't think I own a single piece that compares in terms of beauty to value. While I haven't used mine, I have no doubt that I could if I had the nerve. :)

If you've ever wanted a handmade Sword in the Japanese oeuvre, run don't walk for this one.

I believe this is the katana Stuart had with him at the Seattle knife show. If so, I was able to look at/handle/admire it in person. It is a beautiful and functional work of art to say the least. And just in case... I will call seconds. Mike
