Theres not much about this site on the forums, so I just wanted to share my experience.

I've ordered twice from them and both times had a terrific experience.

Immediately after ordering I got a confirmation email, and another one with tracking # when they shipped( which was same day)and

my knife came in 2 days!

This site, from my experience has some of the best prices on the net and they seem to be stocked in product that is long

been back-ordered from the more known places.I looked everywhere for a Boker 67 and could not find a place that was stocked

in them.I found it at Katerno and the price was way cheaper than the others.

Remember this is only my experience and it may be different for someone else, but this is my second purchase from them and they treated me

right, so i just wanted to spread the word.

i have been considering buying from them, but some general red flags went up for me. for one, there prices are a little too cheap. it makes me wonder if they are selling factory seconds and not telling people. they have too broad a selection of random items as well. and i dont know if its just me, but there customer service never answers..... so theres that. they could just as easily be busy and not able to answer my call. a little to skeevy for me. but hey, thats just me. it just seems like for a company that specializes in technology, if they were gonna sell knives, they would be tom anderson, or Mtech cheapos. these are all observations ive made, and could easily be looking to far into things.

Since I started this thread I've ordered from them 2 more times.Both times the result was the same, same day shipping and good communication.I emailed them to ask if an item was actually in stock and was answered within a few hours.I got my shipped email with tracking number within hours of purchase.

You could be right on some of your points, as it does seem strange that they have such a huge random number of brands...could be a drop ship company too??

As for the seconds idea...eh,,I tend to think not.

very good point on drop shipping they might just be purchasing a certain number from the manufacturer and having them held untill purchase.

i might just have to give them a chance.... although they nickle and dime to death. they Tax by the state (which doesent make a least bit of sense) and charge a huge amount for ground shipping... but none the less, i think i might take your word on it and buy from them.
