When i picked them up at the "mailboxes" place today, I did my usual "show and tell" for the crew there. That's three women, one young enough to be my daughter, one probably my contemporary, and one a bit older. "Show and tell consisted of an elegant little 2.5" gentleperson's folder in its folded condition and the Kathathu - almost nine inches of dark double-edged naked steel.

The young lady was at ease with both knives. Guess which one the two older ladies wouldn't touch.

Yep. They acted like the little folder was a non-poisonous but still creepy snake that I was offering to let them pet. However, they both hefted the big vorpal dagger about and declared it cool and empowering.

Go figure.

I got my first two a few days ago and was really impressed. Here's a picture of one of them along with the full with the full spearpoint line: Shadow 1, Project 1, Shadows IV, III.

I think a 5.5" version of the Kathathu would be a prefect mate to the big fella. Waddaya think?

I too vote for ( would buy) a 5.5"...

Just can't carry somethinf that big in thie state...
