Hey I just remembered I have some Katrina red oak with some really cool twist in it It should be figured nicely not to mention some of it may be spalted
If anyone is intereseted I can see how much I have It would be a unique part of mississippi history

If you are giving it away, more power to you. If you are selling, it's a no-no without a paying membership.

It turns my stomach to think about all the wonderful wood that got bull dozed and stuck in landfills after the storms down here! I'd drive through Pensacola and see huge oak trees cut into chunks when they could have been salvaged. What a waste!!!

no not yet I don't have alot, tomorrow I will have the guy that does my boxes to cut it into blocks and then i will be able to take pictures
It was more or less firewood but we could'nt split it so we just stacked it whole
