Kayakin' with Biscuit, The Trades, and LadyMoose

i got me a nice PFD from my sailing era, dry bags, and boxes, and the water shoes. plus other stuff :)

but no kayak yet. i borrow. i play. i have many friends with them, but haven't succumbed to buying one - lots of good used values around here, and lots of water too.

renting is easy too. perceptions have always been a crowd pleaser.

perhaps this year, but really, i need another hobby like a hole in the head :>

perhaps after a house?

Yeah, I had to borrow my PFD, but, me and Lady are no looking to expand our kayaking supplies quite a bit, starting with the Tarpon she wants, followed by some kayaking PFD's, I found a helluva deal on dry bags, $7 for a 35L, so, I cleaned out the rack on them. So, dry storage, I'm good.

She wants some self inflating mats, a good 2 man (man/woman) tent, and some bivvy's to throw in the mix. We're good on hammocks, my God we are good on hammocks, but she wants some options, and so do I. We started planning a romantic getaway, kayaking some remote spots we've talked about in the past, just getting out and getting our paddle on.

She had such a great time, everytime I would look back, all I saw was teeth, then, once she learned that when you're out front, it feels like you're all alone, it was just watching her from a distance.

Oh, she slept the 3hrs back to the casa, btw, worn slap out. :D

Murph, you and I need to see what dates will work out for another paddle. Me and Trade were hopin' you and LadyNuge could make it.

Sounds good to me! Just need an idea of when and we can make it work. I make her work all the time, she probably wants time off. She just bought a new corolla and insisted a kayak rack was to be installed before leaving the lot. I'm proud!

Take a look at the Kokatat kayak PFD's. I really like mine. I think I have the Bahia Tour model.
I also have a Extrasport Osprey fishing/kayak PFD. It's good too.

I prefer sit in to sit on, but looks like a great time. I keep staring at kayaks, need to find something cheap and used.

Work took me to Romney, WV last week - home of "The Trough" (South branch of the Potomac). Accessible via boat or train only (Potomac Eagle Scenic RR). Bald eagles regularly seen. Dieing to get on the water. wvcanoerentals.com - great family owned general store that sells beer and johnny bootlegger and will shuttle you upstream.

Nice pic's looks like fun I hope to get my kayak out soon. So with all the pic's you took how come I didn't see one Becker? Not even a little BK11.
