Hey all, I guess this should really go in the "salt" thread, but I thought this one deserved its own place. I went out this morning and the fish were biting again. Even better, they were hitting top water lures which is always fun. Anyway, I saw a couple of humpbacks early about 200 yards away. That's a relatively common occurrence here so I didn't pay much attention. Well, about an hour later, two of them came up right next to me and just sat there on the surface. I paddled my kayak within 10 feet of them and they pretty much ignored me. After about 10 minutes, I finally worked up the courage to jump in. Man, I should have brought a mask!! I could see outlines, but the water wasnt crystal clear so I couldn't see that much. It was a really cool experience. I've seen them fishing and surfing tons of times, but NEVER this close! I am going to try to post the video that I took. Hope it works.

If that doesn't work, here's a link to it until someone can show me how to include the video in the thread.
