Kayaks, Crawdads, and Swamps

The problem with kayaks is that they breed and multiply

that is so true !! i get out on my yaks (either a 15 foot day touring or a 13 foot wilderness systems SOT thats my diving rig) maybe 20 - 30 times a year, yet im always keeping an ear out for any more for sale (i need one to make into a diving rig now)

Um, Yes! My youngest has already expressed concern about how we are gonna fit 3 yaks on the car "next year". LOL

Man that looks like a helluva lot of fun! Those are some pretty crawdads too!!

What do you guys use for crawdad bait in your traps? What works best - what should I avoid using?

I need to get myself more of a Flatwater Kayak similar to that (or one without a planing hull). I have whitewater kayaks and the hull design makes it harder to keep strait then those that look similar to yours so I have less fun on flat or slow moving water.

I love Crawdads, I dont know if its the pictures but those look pretty nice sized.

I prefer fish actually. Either leftovers from fish cleaning, or small perch, or shad caught in a throw net. Just give 'em a slice to get the juices flowing and you are good to go.
