I know a couple of folks that paddle a Pungo, and they really like that yak. The 12' version is a nice size. Easy to transport, maneuverable, but plenty of room. If I'm not mistaken, that yak has a bulkhead in the stern which accomplishes two things: (1) it keeps water away from stored items, and (2) it provides buoyancy should the kayak somehow flip over.
That's a good kayak for leisure paddling on open water, and great kayak for recreational paddles on slower moving creeks and rivers. A solid choice IMO. :thumbup:
