keep westlen in our thoughts and prayers....

You are all so wonderful!!!!! Thank goodness I can get email on my phone, I just read all the replies to Jules. He's got the biggest smile right now and is so appreciative!

He had me take pics of the incision and all 27 staples. I'll post pics tomorrow when I am home and can upload them. We are hoping they remove the drain tomorrow and let me take him home where I can really get him back to great health.

Thank you again, everyone. We truly appreciate all the wonderful wishes.

When he can get on the puter, he needs to tell you what he told the doctor right after the surgery when the doctor asked him to say the alphabet :D

I'll keep you posted

Janie

Came home lsat night. He had a rough nite.

I will post pics later today. Thank you again for all the well wishes.

Jules, I always enjoy your posts and pray for your prompt and full recovery. Clearly, you have already been blessed with a wife such as Mrs. Wetllen! Bill

Sorry to hear you had a bad night Jules. Hang in there buddy, you'll be good as new in no time.

My prayers will continue untill you have a full recovery.

Rough day.... I did get to give him a sponge bath though ;) And he is eating.

Each day will get better. The staples will be removed on Monday.

I know I promised pics, they will have to wait until tomorrow.

I've read all the replies to Jules tonight. He's a very strong man, takes alot to tear him up, and all of you have done that :D It's nice to know he is well respected and thought of, I've always believed they broke the mold when he was made but I am just biased ;)

Look for pics tomorrow.

I can't say that I know Jules all that well through his posts here but I wish both of you the very best.

27 staples!!!!

Jaxx is going to owe him a knife:p

I'm new to the forum but it seems that he is always there for others. I wish him a speedy recovery and all the best. Get well soon. In my prayers.

I updated in Community but will also post here :

Jules has had a rough week. Drain and staples are out. Still eating thru a straw.

But I know he's getting better when he asks me for his ST Ripper & his Sebbies : ;)

Drs have changed his meds, trying to get him acclumated to the loss of the thyroid. Once this has been achieved, he'll have the gamma xray done then the Radioiodine treatment.

He's amazing, hasn't complained once! The only thing he HAS complained about is all the knife deals he's missing online!

But I think he might be getting a little too comfortable being served breakfeast, lunch and dinner in bed :D

Keep the prayers coming, they are truly appreciated more than you'll ever know!

Words from Jules: "I would like to say thank you very much for all the kind comments, PMs, calls, cards, you have brought many tears to my eyes from hearing of all the wonderful posts."

Janie
