  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Keep yer gear together!!!!!

Went camping this past week and while wandering around the river's edge I found a great condition Leatherman Charge and a useable pack of matches sitting on a rock. I can't fathom why someone would leave a perfectly good pack of matches lying around but I am sure they'll be sorry next time they need a fire. Theuy'll probably miss that nice Leatherman tool too :D

I lost a nice Microtech LUDT once when I loaned it to my friend to cut an apple while backpacking and she sat it on my pack instead of giving it back to me:rolleyes:

Now anytime I stop on the trail I always say "OK now everybody look around did we leave anything???"

This saved me from losing a nessmuk. I had used it to cut up lunch and then washed it off and sat it on a rock to dry. Luckily as I went thru all my checklist as I was walking away I realized it.

Five minutes later, the guy stumbles out of the woods where he was taking a dump and finds his knife and firestarter missing. :D

haha...:D

that is a score bill... i seem to always find stuff while out in the woods...

That's how camping tools and work tools are lost. Never leave a camp site or job site without double checking that nothing has been left laying on a rock or in the corner of a closet.

I'll tell you what, I've learned my lesson the hard way.

Good score for you though!

Brian, sorry but finders keepers :D Maybe if you lost a knockoff tool..........maybe.

I found a kinda beat up Sog at work where there had been alot of construction workers/electricians working. Of course everybody lost a knife when asked but nobody could describe it. Then after 2 days one of them was able to describe it and got it back.

I've lost a several pocket knives over the uses including 2 spyderco delica's, 1 wave and countless SAKs. One of the reasons I like a fixed blade and sheath carry on belt. I always am sure to stick the knife where it belongs.
