Don't know if there's a thread like this one here.
It's hard to know while not being able to send pm's to the mod's but here you go...

I've reached a point in my knife collection where all the 3"folders i own are keepers!
What i mean by that is, these ones are going to stick with me forever, if life's course allows it!
Today, i really don't see myself letting neither one of these go.
This is what i always wanted since i started collecting.
Get some experience with different folders until i found what was best suited for me.
I believe i achieved that!

Spyderco Delica 4 ffg

This one is the only Spyderco i own now after having a Sage, Persistence and Leafstorm!
I kept this one mainly because it is my better half's first knife present:)
Also a very high value knife!
Very light with very good ergonomics and great, razor blade, VG-10 steel!

Lone Wolf Blackfoot

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful, functional, cheapest, high value knife for the money ever!
It was considered the "Knife of the year" in 2009 if i'm not mistaken.
Not a lot of people knows about this one but since Benchmade bought Lone Wolf knives, this model has been discontinued so they are very rare now, specially with plain blade..
A pleasure to own and carry to perform several everyday tasks as well as harder jobs!
Truly a small pocket tank:D

Long but worth seeing review of this OUTSTANDING knife:

DPX Hest folder

What a surprise!
At first, when it was in it’s production stage some pics came out and i never showed any interest about it!
Then when the production version came out i started to pay more attention to it and realised it was worth a shot!
I wasn't wrong:D
I know some of you had bad experiences with it because of some flaws in your models but, fortunently, mine's perfect!
I simply love it's rough and tough shape. The black D-2 blade, the grippy green G-10, the stonewashed titanium on the thick framelock side, the roto-lock, the knife functions, the tool, even love the pocket clip, wich i toke out anyways:D

Fantoni Hide folder

One of the most recent purchases.
What lead me into buying this knife was mainly the materials and aesthetics of it.
I simply adore it's blade shape!
Because it's an italian foler, it reminds me the of the old short sword the romans had!
It's a real cutter with an almost full flat ground S30V blade.
Very strong blade retention and great ergonomics.
All combined makes it a very nice and somewhat exclusive/tacticool knife to own!

Not a review but you can see it better here:

Small Sebenza 21

My favourite!
What else is there more to say?
The only flaw i can point is the lack of dual thumbstuds but other than that...PERFECT!

Benchmade Mini-Griptilian RSk Mk1

The latest arrival!
My first "quality" knife was a regular mini griptilian 556 wich i sold a few weeks ago:)
I felt bad selling it because i really liked to play with that axis-lock. The money of the sale was to buy something else but it turned out to be another mini grip!
The Rsk Mk1, most commonly known as the Doug Ritter model.
Same handle and lock but with different steel.
Stonewashed CPM S30V steel instead of the regular 154CM!
The blade is also thinner, almost full flat ground and has a WAY BETTER jimping than the regular 556!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this one:D

This is how it came:

So now the only one I really want that’s still missing from my Keepers List is a Strider PT CC!!
I hope, someday, i can find one and eventually close the circle:D

What are your keepers?

Most of the knives I have now are keepers. Some aren't that special, but they are great users nonetheless.

small classic micarta Sebenza, large classic micarta Sebenza

Benchmade 710, Benchmade Ritter Griptilian

Spyderco Military, Native, Native III, Native CF, Bob T, Manix 2

Case Bose Tribal Spear

Remington R1303 1984

Winchester moose (80's)

an old Boker stockman, red bone scales with carbon steel blades, just a great knife

Gossman Kephart, mini Kephart, micro Kephart, Polaris, Tusker that I won in a raffle at his campout shop tour

Terry Baublitz Hudson Bay chief camp model

NWA Woodsman

J Neilson Kephart

Sissipuukko M95

Hackman Tapio Wirkkalla set

Sorry, no pics. I want to take some soon, but it's been to dang hot!

My keepers are:

Benchmade 710 D2
So D2 may not be the latest craze uber-steel, and it may not even be the best heat treat as done by BM (what is?), but the 710 is a great platform for a large EDC. D2 is a solid steel that I never worry about developing any sort of strange issues. I can use it to slice open packages or cut tags off of clothes, or I can use it to clear brush and trim low hanging Oak tree limbs and everything in between and it just takes it all in stride. The size and design of the 710 have made it BM's best selling knife for almost 10 years. That says a lot.

Benchmade 943
This is my favorite folder. It's the best made (and designed) Benchmade I've ever held. The fit and finish are absolutely superb. It deploys surprisingly smoothly. It's just perfect in my opinion. The former owner said he didn't want to carry it much because he liked it so much. I thought at first, "Ill carry it!" Now I realize what he meant! I'll tell ya, when BM wants to, they can put out some amazingly good stuff (rare, but it happens!).

ESEE Junglas
Do I really need to explain? It's 10 inches of awesome perfection!! This thing is just plain sick. I love using it, looking at it, scaring my poor wife by messing with it on the couch. It's just awesome!

ESEE Izula
I don't know what sort of VooDoo magic Rowen does to his heat treats, but it's the best I've seen. They've got this whole 1095 thing down to a science over there and the Izula is proof of that. It's a great design, carried effortlessly, and I am confident that if I had nothing else, I could survive indefinitely with my Izula.

I think my top two are the ZT 0200 and the spec bump. the ZT 0200 takes what is thrown at it with no complaining. I chopped down a small tree with it, dug holes with no hesitation, and it has accompanied me every time i leave the house for the last 6 months. the spec bump is probably my all time favorite. some people may hate the recurve, but i love it for every day tasks. it goes through everything with ease and slices so well. it got sharpened a few months ago and has survived with no edge maintenance for occasional work while my money has gone into knifemaking. that, in itself, makes it a keeper. by the way, it is my edc while i am in the house ;)

Hinderer XM-24 - it's all that! ;)

Hinderer XM-18 - it's all that too! ;)

Couple of lg Sebenza 21s. the precision workmanship appeals to me.

Spyderco Military - light beautiful ergos and a wicked slicer.

I have a lot of others but they're not KEEPERS! :D
