I'm in Northern Utah, South ogden City about 25 miles from Salt Lake City.

It would be a honor to meet you if possible, your knives and designs are phenomenal...

Some interesting philosophies being shared here. Personally, I don't own ANYTHING I'm not willing to part with. While my life is far from simple, I can, at a moments notice, break it all down to what's really important in life. There are a few knives I would'nt want to have to part with, but, I could fairly easily if I had to.

One I thought I'd wouldn't sell I sold couple months ago to the ups man for $20.. :p

I have my Dad's Buck110, and a puma junior I have no intentions of ever parting with, the sharp pocket knife I've had since 11yrs old I gave to my 7 yo son.. :D

Everything I own would be for sale if me or my family really needed it. It's just stuff. I don't have any heirlooms or old rare stuff I couldn't purchase again.

I'd sell my few heirlooms in the blink of an eye if my family needed it. Wouldn't regret that one bit.

I will be buried with my Busse Gladius. I have no practical use for it but its pretty much my favorite. I wouldn't sell my Busse Killa Zilla 2 or my Custom Shop M9LE rither. As far as Beckers go, a BK-2. I may sell my current one, but I would always get another. I love the BK-2.

Man some of you folks are really attached to your BK 2's. I've never even held one before. I was planning on getting one for each of my boys and just holding on to them till they get old enough, and that was based on so many recommendations on another board. i may have to pick one up for myself.

Apologies for the Hi Jack!
The one knife I would keep belonged to Grandpa, Its an old fixed blade hunting knife, says made in Shefield England on it. I don't really even like the blade, but thats not the point.

I think you will be doing more then holding on to them once there in your hand...

(maybe keeping them)

A sak my dad gave me when i was 8-10 years old. Other than that, everything is for sale for the right price.

My BK2. Even though I could replace it, It was my first knife I really loved, So I named her Sheila.

Awesome. She is a tank after all. Are you a RvB fan?

I named mine Winona. ;)

I can't get rid of mine, it was from the missus. First knife she ever got me. (Not counting the multitools.) My mom got me a Pohl Force Alpha Two plain edge for Christmas, so I can't get rid of that either. It is retarded big for a pocket knife, and I seriously need bigger pockets just so I can use it as advertised, but I like it, and it is the only knife my mom has ever got me. Finally I have an old Camillus Marine Combat knife that I have had since I was 11, and that thing has been through so much with me, and is the only thing I have left from my childhood, so it isn't going anywhere either.

Gotta say, I am kinda feeling the same as Moose. I have always been of the opinion there is plenty of money out there if I want to go get some, just gotta put the work in.

I have two. One is some cheap slip-joint that I was given as a child. It served as my Cub Scout knife. The other is an old Buck 442 that my dad gave me. I think it served to skin and quarter a moose one year... :)

What?! Moose tastes good! :D

That' what my wife says, but I don't believe in cannibalism.

Hell yeah it tastes good, better than beef in my opinion, I just couldn't kill one. They seem to regal to me and they are my totem animal. Bad juju for me to kill a moose.

Its a quirk of mine:D

Moose

Well if it makes you feel any better, I have fed my share of wild moose, also. :)

I've ate a little myself, and, I would still eat it now, I just don't think I could drop the hammer on one, they are just to beautiful to me. Cows are ugly, deer are ugly, turkeys are ugly, chickens are fugly, and they all taste good. I blame it on the moose, for tasting so good.:D

If I was a animal I think I would be a varmint do to the fact that I will eat almost anything......

That hold true with me also. I would sell everything if I needed to to support my family. But; I would have to keep one knife. Which one?? I'm not too sure. I think as of right now it would have to be my Cold Steel Hunter. Only reason for that is because it's my best knife, and it would just not be smart to sell them all. What if something happened where I would need to protect my family or we some how ended up in a survival situation? I would need to have one good knife, and for now it's that one.

On another side though, I would trade 'em all for a Tracker. I really want one of those. :D
