Keeping grind lines crisp?

You guys are all crazy. Everyone knows the simplest way to keep grind lines crisp is to go full-flat or full-convex! :D

It's all in the eye of the beholder, friend :)

Someone told me once, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and your neck be holdin' up a whole lot of ugly!" :grumpy:

I take a piece of lexan approx 1/8 thick and 3/4 inch wide x 6 inches long and using a heat gun I soften it and clamp it to my grinding wheel with spring clamps until it cools. This will give you a rigid sanding block with a slightly bigger radius than your wheel with some flex if needed I make a bunch of them with 8", 10", and 14" radius . sometimes I spray glue a hard rubber to them and sometimes I spray glue leather to them . Works great, it's cheap and they last a long time. For sanding flats I spray glue hard rubber to one side of a flat worn out file and G10 to the other ,shape on the beltsander and I'm ready to go.

No sorry I didn't. I'll try and snap a few pics and post them tomorrow. I have to say that I tried it a little and was not that impressed. But to say I am a beginner at grinding is a big understatement so somebody with more experience might get more out of it.
