Keith Johnson Knives

That Lanny's Clip is a beauty! Your finishing has gone leaps and bounds so I recon maybe you have been chicken eyein those Bose knives I have been postin. :D

Also, good on you for giving Tony his props for the use of his pattern.

Here's another Lanny's Clip (thanks Mr. Bose, for letting us use your patterns).

This is my first knife with a bushing and it's going to the UK.

This one!!!!

No Wait, this one!!!!

I thought it would be a nice idea for me to post the Lanny's Clip Keith just made for me;it arrived yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased...... I'm the guy with his own Stag scales, see above.

If any of you have the opportunity to have Keith make a knife for you jump on it with both feet, he is an absolute pleasure to work with, a true gentleman with ridiculous skills.......Keith, you'll be hearing from me again, soon :D:D

And I'm the lucky Brit who now has the knife! I'm very pleased with my new purchase - the fit and finish is superb. Very solid snap to the knife and it takes a razor sharp edge. It's my first custom made knife (at least built to my specifications) and I now just need to force myself to use it.

I didn't appreciate before (not having a bone handled knife previously) that bone is an almost translucent material and so in direct sunlight the handle looks a dark brown colour (hence my two-tone lanyard!).

Keith is a nice patient chap to deal with, and I'd certainly recommend his work.

Apologies for the very poor iPhone photography.

Very nice Lanny, Hick! I am waiting for Keith to return from Blade Show so we can work on my first custom.

Just got to get a decent lanyard for it now - paracord just doesn't seem to suit the knife!

Keith really does do amazing work. Just look at how crisp his lines are. Just a clean knife overall. And the belly of the knife, even without purposely having a ton of it, is awesome. I could see that just drawing into something and not thinking twice about it. Congrats to both you and Keith for the great knife.

Here's a 3 1/4" Eureka Jack I just finished for an order. The blades & springs are 1/16" ATS 34, my jigging on the bone scales.

Really, really nice Keith! I like the choice of clip point blade, it gives the whole look more symmetry when closed.

Keith, Looks awesome, Very nice jigging and dyeing...
lots of blade in that small frame.... Great job.

WOW! That is simply beautiful. Perfect size, nice thin blades, and some "body" to it. VERY nicely done.

Just had to post this photo I took earlier today of my KJ Lanny's Clip

Dang, that knife is sharp and stout!

;)

Keith is putting some really nice knives out there. (And he's a heck of a nice guy to boot!)

Haven't had a chance to take any pictures but here is my blue bone trapper I've been carrying for few weeks. This is my first custom traditional slipjoint and I'm really enjoying it! Thank you Mr. KRJ!

I applied light coat of mineral oil couple times and the bone now has this midnight blue hue to it .. it is awesome! I will have to take some photos when I get my memory card back.
