I have owned 2 Keltec pistols, the 223 pistol that takes AR mags and the Keltec SUB rifle that took SW mags..in 40. I liked them alot, great performance for the money IMO. Lots of extras available and pretty well made. Gene

I don't personally care for the trigger pull on them, but with practice they can be very handy.

I currently have a Sub 2000 in .40 S&W (Glock 22). I haven't shot it a ton yet, but so far I really like it. The energy that the .40 delivers out of the 16" barrel is supposed to be approximately that of a .357 mag.

This pic is mine. I have since put a different front sight on it and acquired several more Glock 22 magazines.

I plan on getting a SU-16, which is their folding 5.56/.223 very soon. Add to that, they have an awesome bullpup coming out next month and I'll really be set!

Okay, now I have to sell some knives . . .

The only thing I've heard bad about them is that you are not supposed to use the aluminum cased target ammo with them. I have a Kel-Tec P-11 and am very pleased with it.

OOOOH!! that's right! they got one coming out in .308, don't they? I wonder how much it's going for? I've got a little over1K in gun funds burning a hole in my pocket.....

aw hell...I seem to remember them being closer to 2k....:(

The .308 carbine version, with 18" bbl, is 26" long and weighs 8 lbs. A small number will be shipped in December. MSRP of $1880. Word is they will probably be available for less.

So what size is the 2K when folded?

Hi Briggz,

The Subbie measures only 16 inches when closed.

Hi James,

My understanding is that KT is considering making these in several callibers, but they are a pretty small company, so I bet it will be a while before we se anything other than .308. There is a Kel-Tec forum that may shed some light. Google KTOG.
