Up for sale today is my Kellam Puuko knife. This is a wonderful knife, but I have to thin the herd. I am the original owner. I have carried it a few times, it is in great shape. These are handmade in Finland.

The handle is very comfortable, and is made of stained curly birch. I applied Renaissance Wax to seal the wood. The blade is 3.75” forged finish carbon steel. I sharpened it once or twice, and it is easy to sharpen and takes a very nice edge. The sheath is of high quality dark brown leather, embossed with ‘Puuko’. It has full tang construction. Brass bolster. Weight of the knife is 3.2oz. Overall length is 8.25”.

Price for the knife is $60 $55. I will ship USPS First Class included in the price, which includes tracking. PayPal only, I will eat any fees. CONUS only. No trades. First 'I'll Take It' posted in this thread gets the knife.

Thank you for looking!

Based on your limited use, or maybe there's a spec out there somewhere, what carbon steel does it seem like or is it? 1085, 1095, O1, etc. Guess I'm trying to see how it compares to a mora classic with carbon blade.

These are great. Got a wolverine - very similar to the puuko. Mines not going anywhere. Pity I was not closer. Super deal.

Sorry but I don’t know the answer. My other carbon steel knives are all 1095. This is much thicker so I can’t compare. I really haven’t used it but to make feathersticks once from what I can remember.

Thanks anyway, PM sent.
