Kelly Cupples

Kellys day job is a traveling salesperson for Oxarc so he may not get back to you same day. I dont know how he can be so fast with his schedule but somehow he does it. I can say enough good about him either. For damascus especially I dont know anybody better. He will shear the 15n20 to your sizes.

I had a similar experience with Kelly. I sent him an email telling him what I wanted and asking what would be the easiest way to pay. I had my steel before I ever had an answer. I just made a copy of the enclosed invoice and mailed it back with a check. He seems like a good guy.:thumbup:

In the past when I ordered small amounts of steel from Admiral, the shipping was almost as much as the steel.

I ordered my first batch of steel from Kelly last fall. He was great to work with. After getting his price list I emailed him with a couple of questions, and he actually took the time to call me to answer them, rather than just email me back.

The steel I ordered arrived quickly and was well packaged. Great service, from start to finish.
 
I just ordered some steel from Kelly, he seems like a really nice guy. Without even seeing the steel I will for sure do business with him again.
 
One of the other things that is really nice (for me, at least) about dealing with Kelly is he can give you batch chemistry on the steel he sells, if you ask for it. Last time I ordered 1080 (a while ago), it was 0.78% C and 0.90% Mn.

Kelly is the best guy you could wish for to order carbon steel from. I get 1080/1084 and 15N20 from Kelly that's all sheared into the exact sizes I like to work with. You just can't beat him. :thumbup: :) :) :thumbup:
