Kelly Kettles and an Intro

I like the copper construction of that Thermette---as long as it's going on a canoe or horsepacking trip and not my back. It's so "retro" (like me) that I may have to order one.:D

DancesWithKnives

It has been a while since I checked it out, but if I remember right Survivaltopics.com made his PSK to fit in one. I have to agree on the coolness factor, and my have to invest.

I want to try one out as well...not the lightest for a backpacking trip, but if truck camping or by canoe...it would be worth it's weight for sure. Also as already mentioned, it would be a good additonal to emergency preparations.

ROCK6

I have the Ghille Kettle, which is identical except has a whistling tea-kettle type cap instead of a cork.

It's bulky to carry for sure, but it's light and its ease and quickness in boiling water will make you willing to carry it!

I love mine.

Stay sharp,
