Dear Members,

I just finished these. No Kidding, I really just finished these.

I'm shipping prototypes to Kelly overnight.

I'm also bringing a couple of prototypes to the SHOT Show.

Man I can't believe how close I ran to the wire on this project.

There are some very special nuances about this design. We'll see if you can pick them out. Remember the Emerson Commandments numbers nine and ten;

9. Never do anything without a purpose.

10. Never do anything that is useless.

Hope to see you there.

Best Regards,

Ernest R. Emerson

I love the design.Now make it a Ti-Framelock & I'll take two.:)

the way the knife is ground makes the point strong as hell and the top half seems to be sharpened making this a double edged folding knife....i think im right but let me know if im wrong...

Not double edged

how can you tell? i could be doubled to the last little bit towards the point. also i dont think its a flipper i dont think that the little bit at the rear of the blade will stick out enough through the back when it closes.

It's already been stated on other forums that it is not double edged. Also, Mr. Emerson has stated that the clip is wrong in these pics. Kelly McCann only carries tip-down, so that is the way the production models will be. Read up on Kelly McCann's knife techniques to get a better understanding of the design.

Still looks bitchin as any other EKI!
