HI,
Price,

I thought I would introduce myself. I have heard lots of good things about the good guys and gals here at Bladeforums. I have been making knives since the mid-seventy's and have been making slip joints for 6 years now. I keep most if not all operations in house including heat treat and jigging and dying my own bone scales.

I have this straight jack for sale and wanted to offer it for sale at an introductory price.

3 7/8 closed
ATS-34 blade and spring
flat ground 400 girt hand rubbed finish
410 one piece milled bolsters and frame
nickel silver pinned oval shield
Ken Coats jigged and dyed bone scales
standard nail pull

SOLD

Thanks for looking and any comments good or bad welcome.

You can PM , email or say you will "take it" here.

Ken,

Welcome to BFC. Very nice looking knife.

Looks nice.

Any chance that you can put the price back up so that those of us who weren't around when it was first posted can see it?

Welcome to the forums, Ken, and thanks for giving us a look at one of your knives. That's a nice, clean, good looking package. Hopefully we'll see more of your work here!

Ken,

Got the knife. Very nice. Your jigged bone is great. Very nice tight fit. A good strong spring but easy to open. Pretty light in my dockers though it's not a small knife. I'm posting a couple pics of my recent acquisitions. I hope to see more of your knives on here.
Thanks again!
Rook
