I made and heat treated the parser plates that I use for shields from Ats-34.
Each shield is made individually from 410 ss sheet stock, hope this helps.

Ken - I received the knife today. It's wonderful. Excellent construction, fit, and finish. The blade is perectly centered when closed, despite it having such a long, thin blade. No blade play when open. The backspring is flush in all three positions. Nice touches like the integral liners and bolsters, relieved liners, pinched bolsters, nice bone, and a beautifully ground blade and swedge.

It's a lot of blade, but a slim, compact, easy-to-carry package. Great job. Thanks again.

Great choice Kelly! (Hard to beat a fine knife from a great guy.)

Good to see you hanging around here again.

Hiya Gus - I never left. I'm still here every day, but just don't post much any more. But I see everything - the good, the bad, and the ugly! :)My slipjoint collection has been steadily growing - old ones, new ones, productions, and customs. I'll be posting some pics of a few things in the traditional knives forum soon.

Well, Kelly, that's a couple of knives that we kind of have in common. Except I've got the two blade version. You always did have excellent taste. ;)

Good to see you around and we'll be looking forward to seeing you over at the clubhouse.

Hi Ken,

Awesome looking folder. Great work. Would you like some more bone? How about some grizzly bear leg bone this spring?
I have been carrying the green 2 blade trapper. Had fun showing your knives to students in a nearby village. We were talking about being a successful entrepreneur.

Brian
