This one has Elk Stag on it. The markside has a bit better figure but
neither side has any pith in the scales.

SPECS
Blade and spring ATS-34, cryo quenched, RC-62, 3/32" stock.
Blade is hollow ground, 600 grit hand finish, cut swedges.
Liners, Bolsters, Pins, stainless steel, Liners are mill releived.
Scales Elk Stag, Federal sheild is pinned.
About 5.5-6 0n the pull open scale. tho this knife can be plucked
fairly easy. Flush open, closed, and half stop positions.

That's a beautiful pocketknife Ken. I really like the looks of those elk scales, and the whole piece is just terrific. Somebody will get real lucky here. :thumbup:
 
i sure agree with all of the above. this is a very beautiful knife you are showing us here, Ken. those are particularly good elk scales. you don't often see them nice and dark like that.

Ken you are the reason I've gotten interested in slipjoints lately, and this is another absolutely beautiful example. I have to stop buying other knives and save for one of yours! Fantastic work.

Sole authorship - does that mean you bagged the Elk too? How about some steaks to test the knife with? ;)
