This knife turned out super, Its been a few years since I've worked with Koa
and never with this great a fiddleback. I got the stuff from Mark at Its A burl.
Stabilized by K&G. My first toothpick with a half stop.

Specs
Blade and spring Ats-34, Rc-61, 3/32" stock.
Blade is hollow ground 800 grit hand finish, drawn swedges.
Liners 410 ss, mill releived, all pins stainless.
Scales stabilized fiddleback Koa. Federal sheild is pinned.
Closed length 4.3", open length 7 3/4" Back is flush all 3 positions.
This one pulls a smooth "4" and is positive.
Crescent nail nick, sunk joint.

Super is just not good enough description, Excellent might fit. Anyway, congrats on a job well done.

The knife turned out great!
I have to say this is the best looking Koa handled folder I have ever seen. Great job on the fit and finish. Looks like you have the grain and figure oriented perfectly. Everything about this toothpick looks perfect.
I envy the person who purchases this knife.
Somebody is really going to score.
 
Great knife Ken! Love the half stop idea and the wood a lot! Someone will get a great model here being a first from you! I sure like my green linen shadow. I don't think I have another choice in my collection that offers 3.5" of cutting power in such a small lightweight package. Its a really great pattern for the true user and sportsmen out there. :thumbup:
