Ken Coats Long Pull

Made this one recently for a BF member Blade @Rc-61-62, 3/32" stock.
Frame is milled from .187 plate, liners, bolsters integral, pulls about a smooth 5 on the pull open scale. Take a look, comments welcome.

Beautiful... The long pull looks great on that pattern.

I don't recall seeing any of your knives with that coloring before. I like it.
 
The swedge and long pull give it a great personality. It has a beautiful color bone as well. The end bolster definitely makes it unique. The only part of the end bolster that I do not like is how the jigging is terminated abruptly by the bolster. It would be good to see a little more smooth bone there at the end to soften the transition.
 
Ken, it's absolutely beautiful! Really nice blade profile, very sleek. I've gotta say I much prefer the full jigging on handles, it harkens back to the old days when slabs were actually fitted to the knives, not just ground down to fit even with the bolsters and caps as modern examples too often are. By the way, that's some fine jigging!!:thumbup:
