Ken Erickson 3 5/8 EDC
$360 shipped conus sold

I have been working with a bit of a re-curve blade and made up this 3 5/8 inch EDC. This one has more of a "trapper" look and feel to the frame than the last one I posted. The knife has a straighter spine and a tad higher blade attitude. I have also been working more in CPM154CM and really like this blade steel. This one is very sharp.I think this one is classy enough for dress use while still being a stout knife. Thanks for looking and you can say "I will take it" here or pm or email me. $360 shipped in the conus, Paypal fees included.

3 5/8 closed
Blade and spring CPM154CM
Blade flat ground with hand rubbed 600 satin finish
Standard nailpull
410 one piece milled, relieved frames/bolsters
Rat tailed bolsters
Ebony scales
Deep cut swedge
Half stop
2 oz.

This one is flush in all three positions with a medium pull, nice walk and talk. This one can be plucked with dry hands.

Ken, very attractive "clean" knife. i particularly like the Ebony scales and impressive swedges. my experience with CPM 154CM steel is that it gets very sharp and holds it's edge extremely well.
BUT, i'm going to wait for a 2 blader and let some other lucky person have this one.

Thanks amigos. Despite the tryptophan coursing through my bloodstream, I am really genuinely excited to have acquired my first knife from Ken.

Vince

Thanks for the kind comments on this one!

I really like working with CPM154CM and plan on using it more and more. Seems to take a very very sharp edge.

Ken,
I have some custom kitchen knives with the CPM 154 that get used vey, very frequently, one,by my wife, even gets some harder use.It holds an edge great & when ground properly (like your blades) it touches up rather easily.
I see other makers using it & raving about it &knife collectors, users, enthusiasts asking for it

Ford, once you drop that ebony rascal in your pocket I think you will find that you stand a little straighter, there is a bit more spring in your step, and your grin is a little wider. Ericksons have that effect on ya.

Guess you can throw away the Levitra now, Ford. ;) :p

Congatulations on what I think is a fantastic snag. :).

WOOF WOOF!!

Thanks Gus, and you other blade hounds as well. I would have replied sooner, but I have been traveling this weekend, and drove 1000 mi. straight thru from Durango to Fayetteville yesterday. I'm dog tired, and still having road-motion illusions. But I have a new Erickson on the way, so I'm a happy dog. Woof-hooo!

Good Grab, Sweetie! A knife like that will make you smile every time you pick it up! You nailed it, Ken!

Ken - another beauty. You have just nailed that blade!!! Perfect.

Ford - great catch. That one's a keeper!!

Well, I just thought I'd let you folks know that I received this fine folder yesterday, and I could not be happier with it.

Imho, it's a wonderful example of symmetry and balance in steel and wood. The ebony is warm and exotic while the steel is precise, sharp, and artistically ground. To me, the blade grind evokes images of Bowie. This will be a frequent pocket companion.

Thanks again Ken. I'm quite proud of my 1st Erickson, and your work speaks for itself. :)
