Beautiful trapper Ken. That would make such a sweet back pocket knife...or front pocket, or side pocket, or belt sheath, or...oh man what a great pocketknife! :)

Somebody will get lucky here.

At the risk of repeating myself (and everyone else)...Nicely done, Ken!

Fabulous knife, Ken, you really have developed a great jigging style...not to mention a great sense of slipjoint stying period. Someone's gonna be real happy with this one.:thumbup:

Just a great looking trapper! Congrats to the new owner, congrats for moving another super slipjoint, Ken. Really liking your work.

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to my first custom slipjoint. I'll post more pictures and thoughts once it arrives. I've been a member since november but haven't posted much but its time I start to contribute.....had been soaking in the information....this forum is such a great source of knowledge.

Barkhage,

You did very well on your first custom. (takes a little of the sting out, cause I missed this knife by "that much" last night.)

Congratulations. I feel very positive you will be thrilled with this knife.

Barkhage, for your first custom purchase, you have made a very astute buy.
there is only 1 "problem". this knife will set the standards by which you will judge other custom folders and hope that other makers' work which you will buy in the future, will be comparable. Ken Erickson sets that 'bar' very high.

That knife is really what knives should be all about. Classic, quality, and beautiful. Great work.
