Ken Erickson 4 1/8 hunter

This is the third knife in a series of three that I have recently finished and put up for sale here on the forums. The first was a 3 1/2 G10 shadow, the second was 3 1/2 G10 bolstered and now this hunter with a saber grind.I wanted to offer a large single blade hunter in premium steel with a saber grind. This is a fairly heavy and stout knife with a medium/hard to hard pull, although it can still be plucked:eek:.You can say "I will take it" here, pm or email. Thanks for looking and any comments more than welcome.

I love the blade grind, Ken:thumbup::thumbup: Just curious, what is the greatest height of the blade from spine to edge?

Awesome grind !

What he said goes double for me. We are very fortunate to have such fantastic knives from good people offered here. Great snag Joe!

Darwin,

The maximum height is .680. This measures from the junction of the clip and spine to the sharpened edge.

Thanks for all the kind comments on this one! Its very much appreciated.

Ken, i would love to own and use this knife. yesterday i went out for a late afternoon hunt, but checked the "Folders For Sale" forum just before leaving.
got in just after dark, about 6:45PM, and checked the forum again. and there it was, posted and sold.
your knives don't come up very often and when they do it's pretty well the first person to see it, gets it. the quality is so good, nobody will pass up the opportunity.
one of these days i hope to be the first to view your newly posted knife.

That knife lasted 10 minutes, with good reason! Beautiful grind Ken!

Thanks for the response, Ken. I would have guessed less than that by the pics, but I suspected it was larger because of your designation as a Hunter. I'd say that's a perfectly proportioned blade:)

It certainly fits the bill perfectly:thumbup:

This one arrived today. Thanks for a great folder, Ken! Love the saber grind. This one not only has great walk and talk, it has the heft to back up what it says!

Your fit and finish is superb. Keep up the great work!

- Joe

Ken, i know you are very busy filling orders but i really hope you can continue to post knives here too.
your knives become such a special delight to the lucky forum member who gets it, and a real treat for the rest of us to see.
plus it adds an exciting suspense every time we click on "Folders For Sale"; maybe there'll be a new K.E. offering !
