KEN ERICKSON dogleg Jack

SOLD

3 1/2" dogleg jack

$475 shipped Conus, paypal fees included

Hi, I wanted to offer this dogleg jack. I have wanted to add a dogleg jack to my pattern list for a while and made this one up in a old school vintage look and feel.

Here are the spec's.

ATS-34 flat ground blade 59-60 RC
closed length 3 1/2
spear master blade with pen secondary
LONG nail pull on master blade
standard nail pull on pen blade
Deep cut swedge on master blade
Cut swedge on pile side of pen blade
410 one piece milled and relieved liners and bolsters
ebony scales
"gimp" shield double pinned
Extension spring for secondary blade
Half stops both blades, very flush in all three positions
blades well centered

Normally I try and let the pictures do most of the talking on my knives, however this one need a few notes. I like very much the older vintage "best" quality knives and wanted to pay homage to them. This knife has a very solid feel to it, rounded scales and bolsters make it pocket friendly. The pulls are about a 5 maybe 6. Not a plucker but these vintage jacks tended to have the blades sunk low in the frames which this one does also.I hope you enjoy looking at this knife as much as I did making it.

You can say "I will take it" here, pm me or email me. Thanks for looking.

Ken, that's a magnificent piece of work and a tribute worthy of the great old knives. Congrats on this one.:thumbup::thumbup:

Ken,
It is really fantastic! If I could collect exclusively rather than collect and make, I'd have tried to beat your buyer "to the punch".
Really well done!

Rats ! :grumpy:

I can't tell you how disappointed I am.

Beautiful knife Ken. Congratulations to both the maker & owner.
I sure wish I'd seen her 1st.

I love it Ken:thumbup: Your work never ceases to amaze me and I'm glad to be lucky enough to own some of it.

VCM pointed out the long...open-ended pull to me. i've never seen that before.
the open end of the pull leads right in to that monster swedge. just an amazing creation.

Ken, Your 2 bladed Jack is one of the best I have seen. It's a true example of your fine work and attention to detail.:thumbup::thumbup:

Ken, those pictures showed the knife well and it looks fantastic in every aspect.
(to the bastid that got this one ... you dog! :D)

Ken. . . . . ."The chair is against the wall. Bastid has a short mustache." :D

Coolness doesn't adequately describe it. ;)
